Scrub 0.1 is an experimental RSS namespace for saying what was done to media before it was published.
Chatouk strips EXIF and GPS from every photo on upload, and refuses the upload if it can't. Until now that was only written in prose. Now the feed says it too: a scrub:policy on the channel, and a scrub:provenance on each item that carries a photo, with the file's hash.
It is a good-faith declaration, not a proof. So there is a way to check it: on Chatouk, click the shield under the photo, and your browser reads the file itself.
